LAMPROBE
How does the Lamprobe treatment work?
Lamprobe technology was developed by Hubert Lam and introduced to the aesthetic market in 1990. It incorporates radio and high-frequency technology to produce a non-invasive current that enables rapid and precise treatment of minor skin abnormalities, without penetrating the skin’s surface. Lamprobe simply attracts fluids from sebum, cholesterol or blood; drying them out to effectively reduce or remove the skin irregularity.
How does the Lamprobe current differ from that of a laser?
The Lam Probe is less powerful but more precise and more accurate.
How quick are the treatments and how quickly do you see results?
Treatment time vary depending on the type and size of the skin lesion being treated. Multiple treatments or longer treatment times may be required to effectively reduce the appearance, or remove the irregularity completely without obvious scarring. Treatments last only 3-5 seconds, results are instantaneous.
Are there any side effects or pain associated with Lamprobe
treatments?
Depending on the client's sensitivity there can be minor discomfort.
The feeling is similar to a pinch of the skin or a stinging feeling.
With some treatments, there may be some itchiness and slight scabbing.
What sort of regimen should clients follow post-treatment?
The treated area should be kept clean. Good aftercare instructions will be given by your practitioner. Clients are able to apply mineral makeup only.
