Everything you need to know about Cryoliporeduction

Cryoliporeduction reduces fat deposits permanently and non-invasively, without downtime of surgery!

All you need is a simple series of treatments!

Pressed for time? No worries – with our fat-freezing treatments, you can pop in on your lunch break and get on with your day as usual post-treatment! It’s really that easy.

What are the benefits of Criolyporeduction?

CRIOCUUM is the innovative equipment that uses a non-invasive procedure, CRYOLIPOREDUCTION, to reduce or eliminate fatty subcutaneous tissue by applying cold treatment.

CRIOCUUM selectively isolates and chills the fat deposits, controlling the temperature and the application time safely and effectively.  We can effectively work on different areas of the body with a variety of handpieces.  An adjustable vacuum applicator is used to capture the fatty tissue in its cavity and selectively chill fatty tissue, causing cell apoptosis.

Anyone with a build-up of localised fat with a BMI of lower than 30 is a good candidate for the Crioliporeduction procedure.

What happens during treatment?

The applicator is placed over the treatment zone to initiate the crioliporeduction process, which suctions the fatty tissue up into the cavity of the handpiece while applying intense cold temperatures ranging between 5°C to as low as -10°C.

What does it feel like?

For the first 5-10 minutes of the treatment the client will notice a feeling of intense cold that wears off quickly as the area becomes numb from the cold.  The majority of cryolipolysis clients describe sessions as comfortable and clients can still do other activities like read or listen to music or even have a nap during the treatment.  Clients can also choose to combine other treatments, such as skin corrective facials, with their cryolipolysis session.

How long does the treatment last?

Clients can be treated in sessions of between 40 and 65 minutes. Some patients have the treatment on more than one zone in the same session.  Bear in mind that the procedure prior to treatment can extend the time required for the session.

When will the results be visible?

With just one session the results will be visible after 15 days.  Full effects are generally visible 8-12 weeks after the session.

Is any recovery time necessary?

As it is a non-invasive treatment and involves no downtime, clients are free to get on with their daily life straight away.

How frequent & how many sessions are needed?

The number of sessions will vary from I to 3, with an interval between sessions of 6 or 8 weeks, depending on the level of localised fat in the area to be treated.

During the consultation process, the treatment clinician will create a personalised plan designed to achieve the desired objectives from the treatment series.
